Market Review Indonesia’s 10-year gov’t bonds yields were flat at 6.30% on Thursday (22/7/2021). The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note fell 2 basis points to 1.263% in afternoon trading. The U.S. Department of Labor said Thursday morning that there were 419,000 initial jobless claims last week, up from a revised 368,000 claims in the prior period. We believe Indonesia government bonds remain attractive to foreign investors given higher yield spread between Indonesia government bonds and UST yields after BI’s left BI 7-D unchanged yesterday. Bond Recommendations: PBS027; FR0091; FR0088.
